The Starboard SUP OPEN brings together the best athletes and young competitors in SUP Surf, Long Distance and Technical races, in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. It is a celebration of the surf and paddle board culture of Sayulita, Mexico; in honor of the Punta Sayulita Classic and the SUP ISA World Championships. An inclusive event where children, parents and weekend warriors can meet professionals, positively encourages our youth to pursue a professional career in the sport. We want to share our love for surf and paddle board culture with the world, starting from Sayulita, and we want you to be a part of it!

For several years, Pro Sayulita has proudly hosted the Pro Sayulita SUP Open, one of Mexico's top Stand Up Paddle board events, which earned over 20 features on ESPN's The Ocho last summer! This year the event’s trusted partners, Adam Finer of Surf Mexico, and Fernando Stalla of Sayulita Surf Club will be taking over the event operations, with the help of the experienced Anthony Vela. Partial proceeds of the event will be donated back into the community through Pro Sayulita’s sustainable initiatives; Operation Trash, Recycling and many others. Pro Sayulita will continue to support the event in partnership with Surf Mexico and the Sayulita Surf Club to keep Sayulita healthy and clean for generations to come! Together, we can make a difference!
