COVID19 Response | PRO SAYULITA GROUP

Dear Members, Supporters and Friends,

During these unprecedented times we are living through with COVID-19, we endeavor to exercise the greatest caution while continuing to support the community where and when we can.

AS NEEDS CHANGES, SO DO OUR STRATEGIES

As COVID 19 impacts in the community shift, so do our focus and resources. Here is an update on the on-going changes:

1.       Immediate needs

Our focus at this time is to support our community with the immediate needs when possible. Pro Sayulita has donated 200 bags of food for families in need as well as supporting Gavilanes Vigilantes on a weekly basis, in addition to money and food personally donated by the Board of Directors.

2.       COVID19 online information

In an effort to provide clear access to information, we will be providing links in our website and Facebook to online resources relating to COVID 19 in Sayulita, including updates on infection rates, medical supplies and more.

3.       “Heroes de Sayulita” campaign

With all the good will and inspiring initiatives happening in Sayulita, we want to thank our heroes for all their hard work and use our network to connect them to the help and resources that they need. Next week, we will be launching the “Heroes de Sayulita” campaign in GPS Facebook – stay tuned!

4.       Online Action reminder

After careful reflection and consideration, the Board of Directors for Pro Sayulita has made the decision to suspend the Online Auction until further notice. All current bids will be honored when the auction opens again in the future. We thank those of you who have bid on a few of the auction items. Those bids remain firm and will be honored when the auction re-opens.

Now is the time to search your soul and dig deep into your pockets to support Pro Sayulita so that we may continue to support the many programs we maintain in the place we all know and love.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us. As has been repeated during times of great uncertainty, we will strive to “Keep Calm and Carry On”.

Blessings to you all. Stay safe and stay well.

The Board of Directors
Pro Sayulita
